Children’s Medical Center was established in January 2010. Dr. Justus Stephen Byarugaba conceived the idea of establishing a children’s Medical Center that would provide specialised, comprehensive paediatric and child health services under one roof.

Dr. Justus Stephen Byarugaba has over 41 years paediatric experience and 30 years of paediatric neurology. He is the first Ugandan Paediatrician to receive training in Child neurology at the prestigious and renowned Great Ormond Hospital, London UK.

Children’s Medical Center offers super specialised child neurology service run by Dr Byarugaba. Our clinical services are supported by an EEG service and a well-equipped laboratory. Dr. Anthony Batte and Dr. Aujo Carol are Paediatric Nephrologists who offer highly specialised renal services twice a week.
